Hello my name is Bart Leeffers and I am just starting to discover my passion for photography. While being on an student exchange in the USA, I had the luck to take a class in photography from the excellent teacher Peter Schwepker. Schwepker helped me to develop an eye for 'the' picture, instead of 'just' a picture.
At this moment, I moved back from the high grounds of Flagstaff Arizona USA to the rainy flat grasslands of the Netherlands.
I hope to find the same beauty in pictures here, like I found in the USA.
I'm continuing my study of Communication Systems, which is totally something else than my photography and has more to do with the making of this website for example.
The results from my first and second semester at NAU are on display at this moment on the website. Those are my final portfolios that I made for my photography classes.
The first album is from my introduction class to photography that I took in the fall of 2004, the second album is from my photojournalism class that I took in the spring of 2005.
I will continue to shoot pictures, hopefully some interesting ones from the Netherlands. Come back later for some updates.
